Lawrence Harvey
Managing Director
After gaining a degree in Quantity Surveying, Lawrence has over 30 years of experience in the construction industry in both commercial and operational roles across many sectors, therefore is well placed to provide direction and guidance to both client and the internal team where required.
As Managing Director of Heydon & Carr since 2015, Lawrence sets the tone for the business of being professional, collaborative, and always adding value. He leads by example, promoting a focused outlook and a team culture built on trust, intelligence, and accountability, ultimately creating lasting relationships for our clients.

John Lewis
Operations Director
John commenced his career as a served joiner spending 18 years working on sites of varying complexities and within different sectors, from residential new builds to fast-track retail and commercial new build/refurbishments. John moved into site management, moving through the ranks into Contracts Managment.
John joined Heydon & Carr in 2016 as Contracts Director and with 38 years experience in the industry is well placed to provide direction and advice on all aspects of design, programming and construction detailing and processes.

Adam Ryan
Contracts Manager
Serving a 4 year apprenticeship with City & Guilds, achieving a NVQ III qualification in Joinery and Carpentry as well as Advanced Craft , Adam quickly moved into site management at the age of 22, gaining experiences on Retail, Commercial and Hospitality projects. Moving into project management , Adam has excelled in the fit out industry, now responsible for leading teams on various projects up to values exceeding £40m.
As Contracts Manager, Adam is responsible for the project deliverables in relation to time, quality, and cost. Adams key focus is to maintain an equilibrium between the focuses of project delivery while ensuring the client is well informed and expectations met, via a transparent and honest relationship.

Steve Dalby
Commercial Manager
Steve started his Quantity Surveying journey straight out of school and now has over 25 years of experience in the industry. Having started in major construction he soon moved into the fit-out side of the industry and found his natural home for the last 20 years.
As Steve worked through the commercial levels to Commercial Manager he has developed into a dependable, and driven individual who consistently brings honesty and integrity into everything he does. The key driver in this approach is to establish long term relationships with both our Clients and Supply Chain to ensure we are delivering the best service to our clients through an open, honest and transparent manner.

Craig Wheeler
Commercial Manager
Craig commenced his experience in construction within general house building and commercial developments in a site based role, however soon moved onto the more exciting and varied world of the ‘Fit-Out’ sector in his mid 20’s.
Since 2001 Craig has worked on a wide selection of general retail, high-end retail, hospitality and commercial projects in the UK. He also had ventures to the Caribbean gaining further experiences and skillsets, which have contributed to his rather impressive and unusual ability to positively effect projects both commercially and operationally.
A self motivated individual, who strives to understand the design details, delivery of a project alongside his principle role of cost management at the outset. With his extensive experience and knowledge he ensures accurate and smooth processes resulting in a high level of finish and important commercial control on behalf of our Clients.
